Leveraging its strengths in IT and art, GOGOMA Co. Ltd. has built this high-tech guest house, blending cutting-edge technology with a deep appreciation for art and Japanese culture. Our approach to property development is rooted in convenience, innovation, and a human-centric design philosophy.

Luxe Wabi-Sabi is a distinguished part of the Luxe series within the Luxe Blue Sky collection of guest houses. This project was brought to life in collaboration with the renowned Kyoto architect Tarō Kōno from Kūkan Kōbō Yōsha Gyōzō, an award-winning architectural firm known for its innovative approach to blending traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern design principles. Under the leadership of Tarō Kōno, the firm has received numerous accolades for its work, including prestigious awards that recognize excellence in architectural design and cultural preservation. Their projects are celebrated for creating spaces that are both culturally rich and functionally modern, making them a leader in contemporary Japanese architecture.

The design of Luxe Wabi-Sabi showcases the traditional craftsmanship of handcrafted yakisugi (charred wood) exteriors, with each suite inside the building offering a unique atmosphere—from the nostalgic Showa style to Zen-centered spaces, modern barrier-free environments, and futuristic yet comfortable living areas—all embodying the core principles of Wabi-Sabi.
